Description

Step up your lubrication game with Waxifyer 2. This complete hot wax set with the Waxifyer heater, Drip Dock and three Chain Couplers is designed to effortlessly and perfectly hot wax your chain.

The heater is designed with a large, 600 ML reservoir for easy handling and enables you to hot wax extra long chains. It contains a precisely tuned electric thermostat and a powerful 200-watt heating element. The Waxifyer 2 swiftly melts the wax and keeps the temperature accurate and consistent to maximize wax performance.

The Drip Dock has three dedicated slots to hang your chains on, while letting all excess wax drop back in the reservoir. To ensure a stable, clean setup, the Waxifyer heater snaps into place on the Drip Dock with magnets.

Waxifyer 2 is developed for Hyper, Wander Wax and Prime Wax, but is suitable for use with any type of hot wax.

How to use
  1. Thread the power cord through the Drip Dock and place the Waxifyer heater on the Drip Dock base.
  2. Place the hot wax in the heater. Break the wax into smaller pieces to ensure quick melting. Place the cover on top while melting the hot wax.
  3. Turn the temperature control knob to ‘perfect’.
  4. If you’re working in a cold environment or need to give the melting process an extra boost, turn the temperature knob to ‘extra hot’. Make sure to turn it back to ‘perfect’ once the hot wax is liquid.
  5. While waiting for the hot wax to melt, make sure to clean and dry your chain thoroughly.
  6. Fold the chain and thread a Chain Coupler through the links.
  7. Place the clean chain in the liquid hot wax and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  8. Take the chain out of the hot wax, hang it on the Drip Dock and let the excess wax drip off.
  9. Turn off the heater and leave the hot wax to solidify.
  10. Let the chain and wax completely cool down, ideally overnight.
  11. Before mounting the chain back on your bike, remove excess wax on the outside of the chain by running it through a clean, dry microfibre cloth.

What is the difference between the Waxifyer 2 and the first Waxifyer?

The Waxifyer 2 has a larger, 600 ML reservoir (versus 500 ML in the Waxifyer), making it easier to handle chains in and out of the wax, and it offers space to wax extra long chains.
Next to that, Waxifyer 2 is built with a larger, 200W heating element (versus 100W in the previous Waxifyer) that can melt the wax quicker and keep the temperature control even more stable.
Lastly, the Waxifyer 2 now comes as a full set with the new heater, the Drip Dock and Chain Couplers as standard.

Why does the Waxifyer have an electronic thermostat instead of a mechanical one?
The electronic thermostat provides more precise and evenly distributed heat in the wax heater. This ensures that the wax melts at the same temperature everywhere, allowing it to melt better and preventing it from becoming too hot at any one point.
