Lyte 1200 is an extremely powerful front light that offers an exceptionally clear view of the road or trail ahead. Perfectly light your way with the concentrated OPT™ Lens and OPT Beam. A maximum output of 1200 lumens provides an extremely effective light beam of over 200 metres long that illuminates any road or trail ahead, even at high speeds. Five different light modes enable you to choose the ideal light setting for every ride.

OPT™ Lens and OPT™ Beam ensure a clear view by limiting unnecessary spreading of the light but instead concentrating the light beam. This ensures the light beam provides visibility where you need it most, while it avoids a blinding effect for oncoming traffic. With a 4500 mAh battery, Lyte 1200 offers up to 24 hours of runtime. The battery can even be used as a power bank to charge devices while riding.

The aerospace-grade aluminium construction combines a sleek design with built-in temperature control, to avoid overheating during prolonged periods of use. Lyte 1200 is compatible with Lyte Remote Control, which allows you to switch between light modes without taking your hands off the handlebar. With the 2-way mount, you can mount your Lyte both on top and underneath your handlebar while maintaining the right, downward tilted beam. This way, you are always lighting your way, instead of shining upwards. With the included GoPro adapter, you can also mount the Lyte cleanly underneath your head unit.

How to use

Assembly

  1. Mount Lyte 1200 onto your handlebar using the included standard bracket, or underneath your head unit using the included GoPro adapter.
  2. For the standard bracket, wrap the belt around your handlebar on the desired mounting point.
  3. Thread the belt through the opening of the rotary dial and turn the dial until the bracket is tightly fastened.
  4. Slide the Lyte 1200 into the bracket until the lock clicks and the light is securely positioned.

Controls

  1. To turn the light on, press and hold the button for 1 second.
  2. Press the button quickly to switch between Low Steady, Medium Steady or High Steady.
  3. To change from steady to flash modes, press and hold the button for 2 seconds.
  4. Press quickly to change from Daytime Flash to Breathe.
  5. Double press to switch directly to High Steady mode.
  6. To turn the light off, press and hold the button for 1 second.

What mounts are included?

All the Lyte front lights: Lyte 400, Lyte 800 and Lyte 1200 come standard with the Lyte Handlebar Mount, and the GoPro adapter in the box. Attach the GoPro adapter (included) underneath your bike computer mount to hang your Lyte underneath it. Note: your computer mount needs to have be compatible with a GoPro mount.The Lyte 400, Lyte 800 and Lyte 1200 all use the same mount.

Can I buy the mounts and spare parts separately?

Yes, if you lose a part or want to use the Lyte on multiple bikes you can buy the mounts and adapter on the shop.
