Application

There are three ways to apply Striptease, always shake well before use and always rinse the chain with water and allow to dry before waxing or re-lubing. The three options are:

Option 1: Pour in a container and submerge the chain completely. Shake the container with the chain and Striptease for 30 seconds, let sit for 5 minutes, shake again for 30 seconds.

Option 2: Drip Striptease onto the chain without removing the chain from the bicycle, agitate with a brush and wait for 5 minutes.

Option 3: Use Striptease in your ultrasonic cleaner, diluted with water in a ratio of 1:3 (Striptease to water).

FAQ

What is the difference between Striptease, Chain Cleaner and Drivetrain Detox?
Striptease is a concentrated biodegradable chain stripper that optimizes the chain to apply a (hot) wax lubricant. It is particularly strong against factory grease on new chains. Chain cleaner is also a strong degreaser, but is not biodegradable and leaves a film on the chain, prepping the chain for an oil based lubricant. Drivetrain Detox is a biodegradable degreaser for all round use.
How much Striptease do I need for one chain?
This depends on the size of the container you use, but we recommend to fully submerge the chain in the liquid to ensure it can reach all parts of the chain equally well.
Can I reuse Striptease after cleaning one chain?
Yes, Striptease is concentrated enough to strip multiple chains. Naturally, the effectiveness of Striptease decreases with each use. Pro tip: pour used Striptease through a coffee filter to remove contamination.
Can I use Striptease in an ultrasonic cleaner?
Yes, Striptease can safely be used in a (heated) ultrasonic cleaner. We recommend diluting it with water in a ratio of 1:3 (Striptease to water)

Nach intensiver Kettenreinigung hab ich die Kette in das Striptease gegeben. Das hat nochmal richtig Dreck rausgezogen!

Striptease cleaner worked well taking a lot of residue off my already “clean” chain. Preps the chain nicely for hot wax.
Only 4 stars because i had a leaky top cap on the bottle which went over other items that i purchased and I lost some of the cleaner.
